Tips on handling and storing magnets

Magnets can snap together and injure the operator or get themselves damaged

Magnetic media have to stay away from magnets, say, credit cards, room cards, storage device like SDD, etc.

Store magnets in closed containers, so that they do attract metal debris.

If several magnets are being stored, they should be stored in attracting positions. (N-S 

Since AlNiCo magnets has low coercive force (Hc), they should be stored with iron keepers or magnetic steel plates that connect the poles of the magnet.

People wearing pacemakers have to be extremely careful with magnets and keep magnets (especially rare earth magnets like NdFeB or SmCo magnets) away from the device.
